I had their ground beef plate and my friend got the chicken and we split it. It was great! We even bought feta at the market and ate that with our plate. Rice yummy with butter, hot sauce and herbs shaker makes it even better! Loved it and definitely going back! Since the Parisian market closed on balboa we’ve been missing this. Fire roasted tomato! I like this place! Great grape leaves at an awesome price! Great Turkish coffee as well. A friend told me about it and we went to check it out. Prices are great and salads and meals they serve are awesome and yummy! I wanted sumac a spice that is hard to find and I found it here. Will for sure go back again. Cindy M., As someone from the LA area, ethnic markets like this are very prominent there, but there really aren’t that many in the SD area, so it’s great to find a place like this! They have a variety of food and produce. Packaged and deli meats and cheeses and they have an amazing selection of meats from goat and lamb to chicken. Their prices are super affordable as well- where else can you get 2 bunches of dill for $1? Victoria, They have an area with fresh made middle eastern cuisine. Anything from the menu is delicious and fresh. They also have tabouleh, dolma, kofte and other prepared foods available by the pound. The portions are HUGE. For ~$9, you get a large plate of kabob, rice, fire roasted tomatoes (my favorite) and salad. They have an area you can sit at to enjoy your food as well. This is definitely my go to place for fresh, seasonal veggies, feta cheese and olives, meat, yogurt and middle eastern cuisine. They have tons of foods  you could not find at regular grocery stores and the prices are amazing.
