Lovely place to go to get some fresh air and walk the dog. It has its own urban beauty with the Steel works being its backdrop. I have seen different beautiful birds, toads, frogs and the odd deer. Unfortunately in the summer it does tend to get extremely busy and some people can be disrespectful of the wildlife and rubbish builds up and there has been some anti social behaviour which is such a shame. It is however a little haven of wildlife and calm in the winter.

Nice little lake for a wander with the dogs and have a picnic. Jet skiers regularly use one end of the lake. It has its own car park too.

Good walking track around the lake. Great for families with children. Decent size park, it's not huge.

Superb walk around the lake. Beautiful surroundings not far from town. Enjoyed by many walkers

Great nature reserve for peaceful walks, situated close to Premier Inn and Lakeside retail park. Interesting back drop of heavy industry (British Steel) vs lake. Well worth a visit.
