The worst experience ever after paying extortionate prices! The pictures are extremely misleading, the furniture is outdated and filthy, staff is non responsive (try calling them!) and prices are through the roof. We booked it thru Airbnb with the idea of a luxurious countryside retreat but it turned out to be a poor 2 star motel. This is something which can pass by as a 2 star wedding venue with single/ bunk beds and commercial kitchen, but if you’re looking for a multiple family vacation home, be prepared for a rude shock. Also, this property takes zero COVID 19 precautions (we were asked to store our food next to staff protective shields and clothing). Please remove all your postings from Airbnb.

I've stayed here....lovely grounds for yoga
I went on a yoga retreat at Florence house this July. I have been on loads of retreats in the U.K., and this was easily one of the loveliest, most appropriate places in which to do yoga. The yoga room is absolutely wonderful. The vegetarian food was truly superb, and the lovely staff just couldn't do enough to help and please. What a wonderful bunch of people! I would like to congratulate the owner for running such a fabulous house and grounds with such a wonderful ambience and atmosphere, so fitting for yoga, meditation and a contemplative experience. Tim and I got married here on 18th August 2016 and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend this as a 5* wedding venue. Steve and his team are so accommodating. They never lost sight of the fact that it was our day and did everything they could to make it perfect. The house itself is beautiful and all our guests fell in love with it. We would also recommend The Secret Restaurant for your catering. Nicki and her team did a remarkable job and the food is very special. If your thinking of getting married this venue is a must see before you make your final decision.
Thank you to all at Florence House for making my yoga retreat go with such ease, for all your help and for such amazing food. I have had nothing but positive feedback on all aspects of the weekend.
