My kids have been coming to Orlov Chess Academy for 6 years. Each of them has become a Washington state champion twice so far. I truly appreciate the personal attention each kid gets here - groups are small and flexible. I strongly recommend Orlov Chess Academy as a place for kids who want to advance in chess.

I have joined my daughters for the mid-winter break and very disappointed with the instructions they provided. They truly lack the professionalism is running the camps nor teaching the kids. After the end of the first day in the camp, my daughters were very disappointed with the quality of instructions provided and the way the management handled the camp. My elder earlier took professional classes and know the rules of chess and this academy is no where comparable to what you see in the Washington area. Please be aware and use your best judgment before enrolling to this institute.
