Not a place to plan a trip around, but i found myself oddly struck by this behemoth concrete cone. It is impeccably kept and the outside greens are beautiful. The inside is modern, concrete, and somehow cozy and inviting. I know little of the architect but i was impressed with their work. Perhaps it was just the vino?

You can't really understand how tall and gorgeous it is until you'll get inside and watch upwards at the center!
Architecturally stunning church. It wasn’t recommend in the guide book (LP) but would put this as one of the top ten attractions in the city, whether you’re religious or not. The cavernous use of space is just mind blowing, and how it uses light gives it an ethereal feel. Such an interesting space and beautiful for reflection and quiet time. While a stunning building, it has the air of a James Bond villain’s pair, especially in the crypt. Wheelchair accessible and has toilets in the grounds.
Sanctuary impossible to miss, visible from almost every point of the city and far from the suburbs. It has two levels, both are worth a visit. Lower is a small chapel with a crypt and a small museum. On the first floor you can admire the huge tower of the sanctuary from the inside.
Fantastic visit for lovers of brutalist architecture. The greatest surprise is the crypt which was the original structure from the 60's.
