Yes, sometimes it's difficult to get an appointment and yes, sometimes the fact is the receptionists can't do anything for you other than book an appointment that seems to be a ridiculously long time in the future (after all you feel ill *now*), but where the reception team and nursing staff can think of a way to help, then they will go above and beyond in trying to find a better solution for you. I too can feel the frustration at what can feel like a \computer says no\ attitude, but they really do try - let's face it, if they could wave a magic wand and make everyone happy then they would. It would make their job much easier not to have to deal with patient frustration! But they have to work within a system with limited financial, space and human resources. They do an excellent job with what they have imo.

worst place ever, the receptionists never seem to have any information and talk to you as if you are inconveniencing them whatever you ask. multiple times the receptionists have failed to pass on test results to doctors which resulted in me missing important appointments. they failed to pass on documentation to change my personal details twice, and as for the doctors the paramedics are extremely helpful and nice but as for the doctors don't ever try to ask about mental health they simply asked me if I thought I had it any worse than anyone else and than shrugged me off, and now that ive been ill for over a month with an unknown cause it seems they have grown tired of me and just keep throwing new medication at me without doing anything else, they don't listen to patients true concerns and always just seem to want to get you out the door as fast as possible wether they have helped you or not that's if you can even get an appointment. don't bother with them

I cannot fault the doctors because they are good. But the problem is the staff in reception. They literally have zero empaphy like mentioned from others in previous reviews. I feel they purposely antagonise me. Not to mention I have been with this doctors surgery since I was a baby. I informed them I recently had a stroke and the response I got was.. Yeah? Like it was nothing. Zero empaphy and no compassion. They need to re-staff if this place is going to get anywhere. Until then I guess they will just be a poorly rated surgery thanks to the reception staff.

Good doctors But not easy to get a appointment

Patient for 30 years, rang up today - phone lines choppy, receptionist hung up on me, called back and in a queue of 20, told no appointments but could see a paramedic if it was urgent. Could book for 4 weeks time. 2 doctors for 8000 patients, not good enough. Will be going private now, you cannot ever get an appointment at this surgery anymore.
