I was recommended The Small Solar company by a friend to recommission my solar hot water system. The system had been written off by various plumbers interested only in megaflo and the original installers interested only in selling me another system. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. They were straight forward and honest from the start, found time to work around a full heating system refit. They were punctual and friendly and willing to recommission the system and I am very happy with results for the money. I would highly recommend this company.

The Company responded to my enquiry very quickly and fully. Our thermal solar panel system did not seem to be working. Christoph was a pleasure to have in the house - he willingly removed his shoes and kept his face-mask on at all times: we are a bit Covid vulnerable, but felt completely safe. Christoph was painstaking in his assessment of our thermal panel system, and diagnosed the problem accurately. He then made the necessary repair on the roof by replacing a sensor which had been attacked by birds! He fine-tuned the system and carried out the routine checks. I am wholly satisfied with the service I received - and with the invoice! Highly recommended.

Christoph attended to look at our broken solar water tube and service the system. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things. Fortunately he arrived with a replacement tube of the correct size, this being the last one they has as these tubes are no longer manufactured. He worked very methodically and carefully. He removed all the broken glass from the rube and guttering and brushed everything down and then proceeded to replace the tube. It was not necessary to drain the system and replenish the antifreeze as his tests showed it to be well within allowable limits. Christoph has a very professional and friendly manner. In fact, everyone at Small Solar has been very helpful. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.
