We stayed over night in one of the cabins then went hiking and kayaking the next day. The cabin and park were well maintained. This was our second time here and we enjoyed it even more than the 1st

We wanted to hike! And...we did. The paths are marked well. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately for us...the bugs were just too much. And we were under prepared. The park grounds are beautifully maintained. We will return when we can rent a cabin and really enjoy the fishing and hiking.

Definitely a great place to hang out! Stayed here for a few days in cabin #8. Cabins had more than enough towels, linens, blankets, pillows, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dawn liquid, dish scrubbed, glasses, mugs, 8 sets of dishes and utensils, spatula, colander, 2 frying pans, two sized cooking pots, baking sheet, pie pan, cutting board, knife, stirring spoons, tongs, cheese grater, bbq pit, picnic table by pit, more than enough seating on porch with glider rocker, chair and picnic table. Hiking trails are well kept. Things to do in Henderson for the kids also. Cajun food and Cajun Fast Track. Swamp tours are not far away either.
