A long long time ago , The best girlfriend ever took me here for a date. I had a 25 baked potato . I couldn't finish it. It was good. And so was the atmosphere and the band. The band was so close they were IN my baked potato. It was so cool.

The Baked Potato is a jazz institution in LA! As one of the city’s most frost formidable and long standing jazz bars, it host a variety of modern and veteran jazz and jazz/rock/fusion players from around the globe. The decor is full of authentic memorabilia dating back many decades with original signatures on most of the photographs. The sound is incredible and is well balanced through the entire club with attention to detail. There is no bad seat anywhere, great views from front left and right of the band. The staff is also amazing! The baked potatoes are huge and equally amazing!!

I enjoyed myself immensely tonight! Keep the music going featuring Joe Bonamassa and all the musicians that he accompanied was awesome! They all played for two hours, special guest stars, you just don't get that anywhere else in such a venue as this. I recommend that you all set yourself up an account, look at some of the live streams that are available. Keep this place going! Don't let it close. Keep it alive. We all need our music, I have seen so many venues, museums, even in Nashville,,,support our musicians!!!!

Last 55 minutes was exquisite - totally enjoyed start to finish! Please livestream every weekend even if same show Friday/Sat./Sun. nights!! Hoping to physically be there for live performance asap. ! Great way for enjoying/finishing the weekend. Thank you again...

The live music here is amazing. Check their calendar to see who's performing and you won't be disappointed. Every now and then you'll see a music legend drop in as a special guest. It's very compact, however, so be ready to feel closer to other jazz fans. And yes, they do serve baked potatoes. The food & drinks are on point.
