Visited the place with family for a lunch. Food is good. For a thali restaurant, the service could have been faster. Place is reasonably clean. This appears to be quite a popular place as there was a continuous turnover of clients. You have to go up two flights of stairs. There is a waiting area in case the place is full. Ambience is ordinary and simple.

Major disappointment! I was very excited to try the famous Gujarati Thali. It was barely few minutes when we started and found human hair in the food. I didn’t expect this at such a prominent place which charges over and above the normal rates. I just want to underscore the fact the hygiene and cleanliness is still not a priority, sheer UNFORTUNATE! The staff acted like dead horses giving no reactions and even did not apologise for the mistake. My sincere recommendation to NOT TRY THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL

This is one of the best Gujarati Thali in Surat. We had multiple times during of multiple visits in Surat. Variety in Thali and taste of all items are excellent. Yuck service and staff also explain the item if you don’t belong to Gujarat or not aware of menu. Definitely must try place in Surat. Highly recommend.

This is my personal favorite for Gujarati thali in Surat. The food is very good, the ambience is inviting & the service is exceptionally good. The staff is very responsive & attentive. Loved the experience!

If you want to have delicious Gujarati Thali in Surat then this is the place. Staff is good & courteous as well as helpful. The thali has huge variety. The manager would personally attend you and ensure you have a good meal. Sweet delicacy option are also awesome. You will experience Gujarati & Homely hospitality.

Recently had food here...I found sasu maa better then Kansar and if you are in ahmedabad them goverdhan thal is highly recommended
