I’ve been a client for a little over 6 months and I’m gladly leaving because of how dismissive and indifferent Hany Ashamalla is with his patients. I’ve never felt so disrespected and rushed in an appointment before, like if I was a nuisance to his time. Video appointment lasted around 6 minutes before he started trying to end it. I was receiving new medication and wanted more information on them and refills for my continuing meds but kept getting cutoff by, “ok, I’ll see you after the holidays.” Not to mention the frequency in which my appointments have been delayed by hours from the original time. It’s hard to find a reason to stay besides the other staff. Irina and the rest of the staff are all great though. She listens, doesn’t rush, and makes sure you know what’s going on with medications and will even help set up your next appointment at the end so you don’t forget. Sadly though, she’s on leave and I was stuck with the other psych again. I know it’s one of the few providers in Surprise, but If you have access to teledoc, I strongly advise elsewhere.

I specifically went there because of my gender dysphoria. The one reason I went was because of that. The psychiatrist I talked to had me in there for less than 10 minutes after waiting 2 hours. He asked basic questions, but didn't dwell on them. He just breezed through and upped my dosage on my anxiety medication, even though that had NOTHING to do with my visit. Completely wasted my time. I was asked to return in 2 weeks ,but honestly, he'd probably just have me take more pills. Edit: I'd like to make it clear that Aiden is my chosen name, and not my birth name. He didn't ask once what I'd like to be referred to as. This place is a complete and utter joke.
