It was my first capsule hotel experience. Quite something i would say. However the setup for this hotel is a bit odd. it is very narrow for each floor but the hotel is quite big vertically. Therefore bathroom luggage room were on the same floor, pantry on another, receptionist on another, and the bedroom was also on another floor. And the lifts were split between gender and you cannot go to all floors using the lifts i.e. females are restricted to some floors only. However the pantry floor could only be accessed by the male lift. So for females you need to go to the female floor and use the outdoor staircase to go up/down to the pantry - not the most convenient i would say!!! Stayed there for 2nights. The sleep was comfortable and the capsule was quite spacious to be honest!

Altogether a nice experience. Staff are really lovely and helpful. The space in the locker room is a little tight if you want to often be getting things in and out of your bag, but manageable if you plan your day ahead. Worth noting you have to "check out" each day, even if staying for more than one night, and that means you can't access your locker (and the things you leave in it) from 10:00 - 13:00. This might be normal at capsule hotels, but this was my first time staying in one. Showers, bathroom and toilets always clean and great to use. What took this review from 4 to 5 is value for money (about 8,000 yen for 3 nights in Tokyo is great)
Great location and super clean! Out the door and you have so many street food at your doorstep! Not to mention Asakusa street full of street food since the famous shrine is walking distance! I arrived on gradation day so it was amazing to see all the Kimonos were out in force for graduation photos down at the shrine!
Clean, comfortable and has all basic amenities. just that the common locker area space is tight if there are many people (limited space to open luggage); some walking distance from metro which will be a pleasant walk if weather were cool.
As my very first Capsule Hotel experience, it's hard to know how to rate this place amongst its peers. But, the 'rooms' were nice with clean linens, amenities were ample, and it was cozy and quiet. I really enjoyed it. If you're looking for the novelty-stay or a cheap one, it will be a great fit. One unexpected thing, is security of your personal items. The locker that they provided is only wide enough for a thin piece of luggage, perhaps 16" wide. So, your full-size luggage will not fit, and need to be put in a corner without a lock. Would be nice if the company could install locking devices similar to the Narita Express trains. Regardless, it's Japan, and people are so kind and polite that you really have nothing to fear. If you'll be around for more than just the eponymous Nine Hours, there's a few lounges within the hotel, a coffee shop downstairs, several local pubs, a walking street full of foods and gifts, and a great view of the Sky Tree. Last thing, I booked a day beforehand and paid 9000, then I immediately booked another capsule ten days early, and paid 5000. Obviously, you'll pay less by booking early but these places are such a novelty right now, that you'll have far fewer choices and pay more if you wait too long.
Nice and friendly staff and easy access to train and main attractions at asakusa
This place is... cheap. The price is cheap and feels cheap, the men's bathroom has no soap dispenser.. kid you not. Locker room is very tight, to the point that someone organizing their stuff blocks the corridor. Also no table to open the luggage and organize your belongings. The capsules celling are made of plastic, which is doesn't damp the sound at all. One snoring neighbor will echo the whole room. Would rather spend extra 500yen and stay in a better place. I'm not impressed enough by the building, but positive reviews are still true.
It’s typical nine hours with limited public area (compare to their establishment in the North Shinjuku and others). If you prefer to take Metro, then this one is not for you since the nearest Metro is 12 mins away.
