This is a lovely place for parents to bring their young children. Even in the winter this discovery centre is beautiful and I am looking forward to seeing it in all its glory in the summer. Bags of feed for ducks, swans and geese can be purchased at the onsite cafe. There are also plenty of picnic areas and play areas. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely place for a walk. Kids and dog friendly. Flat pathway all the way around. Can be muddy so wear appropriate footwear. Picnic tables and benches on site. At the moment only takeaway drinks and food available Wednesday to Sunday. I'm lucky to live close by and visit regularly. Can also buy food to feed the ducks etc which the children love.

Nice walking route around the lake, children's playground, good cafe menu, visitor's centre closed due to COVID19 virus

There are 2 different parks suitable for small children and then a larger park with bigger bits for older children. Couple of different routes you can take to wander around the lake with signposted colours. The car park is donations with plenty of space

Plenty to do here on a day out for all the family. Two different playgrounds for kids of different ages with a variety of rides. Three different walks available of differing lengths which take you around the various lakes. Signage for the longer blue walk could be clearer so I’d suggest you take a picture of the map before you set off. This walk also takes you up to Bulls Lock where you might be able to catch some canal boats coming through. Blue walk also takes you over the train tracks where you’ll need to take care. Cafe was open for takeaway snacks and ice creams. Plenty of parking.
