This is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in England, a must for any tea or cake lover! The owner is a very sweet lady and knowledgeable about the tea she sells, the atmosphere is also very relaxed--a great retreat for anyone wanting a cup of tea and piece of cake. Her chocolate Guinness cake is a dream, I highly recommend it! Lichfield Tea also offers many tasty food items as well, a great place to stop for a light lunch and afterwards have a browse around the Heart of the Country shops. I look forward to stopping by again when I'm in England. I miss this place very much and still have some of the tea I purchased from here in my cupboard. What a treat it would be to have a shop like this here in the States! \u003c3

Absolutely fantastic tea, coffee and cake! The new chap who had recently started was really thoughtful, pleasant and helpful. The slow pour Colombian Jazz coffee was and the English breakfast loose leaf tea was divine. Aaaand the Guinness chocolate cake and the apple and caramel cake were fantastic We agreed we'd come back to Heart of the Country just for here!

Lovely smashed avocado with tangy salsa, great flavours and a poached egg to top it off. Very friendly people running it. The cakes look amazing! Deciding whether to indulge. Come and enjoy the lovely tasty food.

I heard about this place from a previous visit to a Café at Barton Marina, who gets their tea from The Lichfield Tea Company, so I thought I'd try the source. A lovely little set out unit within \The Heart of The Country Village\ in Swinfen. Real Tea and Flavoured Coffee Beans. From Infusers to Tea Pots. Everything you need for a proper drink. \Nourish\, within, you can purchase a drink of any flavour tea or coffee. An experience in drinking. Great Staff and Great Service. A pleasure to eat and drink there. Highly Recommended.
