Purchased esc off ebay..it arrives and I wire it in and as soon as i put power to it the motor terminals smoked badly..the esc as it was advertised should have been more that capable to handle a 3s lipo and 3500kv motor as it was the 120amp esc..i tried my 60a esc from another car and low and behold the car worked faultlessly.i contacted the guy straight away who after a little discussion said to post the item back to him, without starting a return on eBay, and he would refund me and my postage (stupidly I did this) ..i hadn't got the original packaging as I was fitting it over the course of a week,which isn't a problem with ebay returns but he mentioned it,i explained, no more was said.i have now asked several times for my refund and been ignored, guess I can say good bye to that money but I have learnt a valuable lesson.. 1. Don't buy from this shop 2. Use ebay returns no matter the problem
