We dropped by on a Saturday evening. Lucky to get a table! Amazing place with a quaint view over the river and fabulous fish dishes and atmosphere. Recommended.

I returned to Trondheim for my NTNU 10 year graduation anniversary and Havfruen was suggested. What an exceptional dining experience. I was luckily offered a table by the window's with a terrific view of the river. Dinner was perfectly prepared, served, and tasted delicious.
If you are hesitating to have a meal here, I'd recommend you to eat here. I had the salmon and it was very tasty. You get bread and water and the staff is friendly and polite. The choice on the menu is limited but the quality is excellent. A plus point for me was that you can look into the kitchen and see the chefs cook. I found it rather entertaining.

Had the 8-course taster menu, great choice to try lots of dishes and overall big portion. The restaurant is right by the river and a window table is most ideal.

This is a great place for delicious (sea)food and our waiter was very friendly and serviceminded when we ate there today! We will definetly go back :-)
