I have just purchased a Sony RX10 IV camera from Pantiles Cameras. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, and understood my needs as their customer. They gave clear explanations and had a detailed knowledge of their various products. Their approach was to show me the camera that they thought was best suited to my needs and were, I think, pleasantly surprised when I decided to go for the next model up, a decision that I do not in any way regret. After purchase I had an issue with linking the camera to my phone using the dedicated software. They went to a lot of trouble to get it sorted and fixed. That is the kind of service which will not be available on line and almost certainly not from a larger more general store, yet the price that I paid for the camera was comparable with prices online and elsewhere. I strongly recommend this shop for thoughtful pre-sales advice, helpful service at the point of sale, and supportive after-sales service, too.

Excellent service even though I did not buy at this time, as I just wanted to see if a lens from a canon EOS650 film camera was compatable with the digital camera. I am pleased to say it is and having now looked at various web-sites for a new camera, i will be returning to this shop in the next week to purchase one.
