The ruins of the castle are well worth a visit, set on a high rock in the middle of a picturesque valley. It's a short walk from the car park, lovely views and so tranquil.

Impressive castle ruins set in a beautiful scenic valley. Short walk to and from free parking facilities. If nothing else it's worth a visit simply for the views!
This is a brilliant place to go exploring as well as learning a bit of the local history. Take good shoes as the paths are rough but there is a surprising amount of the castle remaining to explore
Beautiful views, free entry and only a very short walk from the road. Well worth a visit, a fascinating glimpse into Welsh history.
Wild, wet and dramatic and free. Last entry at 3.30pm. Can be slippery and bit of a climb to ruins
