This local airport is small but nice. You will not have to waste your time moving to your gate. In my opinion it is a very convenient airport connecting to Paris CDG. There are taxi right in front of the hall. I had very positive experience here for both arrival and departure.

Landed here for the second time and it's a nice small airport in Pau. About 45 minutes from Lourdes. Very good service here. Information desk gave us directions to get to Lourdes. There is a bus from the airport to the main SNCF station in Pau. Only 1 per person on the bus there. Very good service from the airport and the buses. Easy access to public transportation and very good service. Bus schedule at the airport is right next to the stop. The times are all on it. It is right next to the main entrance.

I was traveling from Pau to Paris and was treated like an animal by the security team. My items were being taken from my bag and thrown into the trash can without explanation or an opportunity to check my luggage. I asked multiple times for them to stop and please have someone explain to me in English what was going on as I had traveled on the journey here with the same items in my case. I was reduced to tears when they pushed my luggage and me aside and closed the curtain on my telling me it’s finished. They threw away over 60 euros worth of items without my understanding or approval. It was abusive behavior that left me feeling assaulted by the security team.

I travelled from Pau to Paris on 16 February 2019 through this airport. The two men on the checking line were rude and aggressive - I was surprised they were allowed to work with people so bad their manners were. Extremely unpleasant experience. The same morning another lady was talking to her husband by phone telling her interaction with these guys and was almost crying - hope she will write too.

What a disaster following a fantastic visit to Maroc. On arrival last Saturday, us and other ederly passengers were forced down a narrow staircase, bumping our cases behind us, only to find that we had to assemble behind a 'portacabin' housing with just two passport cum customs officials who took two hours to clear the formalities of which was not their fault. A far better system is needed with more staff for international flights!
