Came for a dinner one time and decided to come back a day after. Quite popular among locals which is a good sign. The food was great, the service was fast and no complains. I see in some reviews that people complains about service surcharges, but that's pretty common in Venice. At this restaurant: expect to pay 3EUR/person for sitting, plus 12% of service on top of a bill.
This trattoria is the essence of Italy- kind and friendly waiters (wearing white jackets), deliscious grilled fish (fresh! You can tell immediately), crazy deliscious deserts (tiramisu! creme brulee with pineapple!) and great coffee. Reasonable prices - a place to go in Venice :)
It’s hard to believe that this place has 4 stars. If you have any joy in your heart steer clear from this establishment. We couldn’t figure out if it was because we were women or tourists but the owner hated us before we even we even walked in the door. There are plenty more places in the area that deserve your business. They will treat you like trash if you speak English and will seat you next to the bathroom. Please do not even walk by this restaurant. Food was disgusting and the fish tasted like it had been sitting out all day.
