Wonderful experience! Great customer service and very accommodating. Hatchery is clean and chicks well taken care of. I will only buy my chicks from Little Birdie!

This is a family owned business that was inspired by Ann Larson daughter loves for chickens. Little Birdie Hatchery has grown organically from first selling chicken tractors and eggs, to now hatching our own chicks as well as hand raising chicks, pullets and started birds. We also offer many supplies, including coops, feeders coop plans and feed. Check out the \Available Chicks\ page for a complete list. When you come for chicks please bring a box or container to bring the chicks home. They are NPIP certified hatchery and licensed by the state of North Carolina as a hatchery.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The chicks I got are like siblings to each other even though they are different breeds. Very healthy and happy chicks. Feed is great too.

Little Birdie is a wonderful family business. They take the health of their chicks very seriously and offer a wide range of breeds throughout the year, hatching services, and everything a backyard flock would need. Their feed is excellent and comes from a local mill made to their specifications. Absolutely the place to go for your flock.
