Dealing with this company was a nightmare. SHS Balustrades And Glass try hard but at the end of the day, were just terrible to deal with. I had to chase them at every single step of the way. Over 60 emails and multiple phone calls for one single balcony. It was relentless and draining because of the constant mistakes. I’d love to leave a good review but I could write pages of what happened - calls and emails ignored, multiple assurances reneged on, wrong items delivered (!!), tools missing, incorrect information given, glass panels with nothing to fix with… I even had to contact their supplier in the end, who, as you can imagine, was not impressed. One member of staff actually laughed at me and told me I was one of the lucky ones!! Talk about insulting when it takes weeks on end to get your balcony and are so out of pocket due to the constant false promises given. I lost loads in the end. I’m sure someone will write something clever below and try and blame anything but themselves for what happened. Yes, I understand that Covid has made things tough, but that does not excuse ignoring customers for days and days, whilst making ridiculous simple mistakes that cost us time and money. Everybody here was furious at this company’s actions by the end of it, but... lesson learnt. Never again will I trust the internet for such an expensive investment, because you have absolutely no control over what happens.

After searching for hours on the web, talking to different companies, I finally found Katie Hughes at SHS Products. She guided me through the stages of understanding what I required. I made my choice based on her first rate Customer Service and the look and quality of the balustrades/rails/glass. Once the order was placed I then moved along to the design office and was placed in the very capable hands of Amelia. She was outstanding. Tolerant, easy to understand and swift with responses. It's no mean feat calculating for one 8 mtr run, plus deep steps and then another 4.5mtr run. They arrived in swift time, thanks to the warehouse and the driver was incredibly helpful.. My builder installed in atrocious conditions - rail, hail sleet, snow. Now I have the perfect conclusion to a seven month project of re-inventing a 1930ies bungalow. My sincere thanks to everyone at SHS Products. Don't waste your time like I did trawling the net - go to them now!!!!

Fraudulent company!!!! Beware!!! Don’t believe promises of new management – they are even worse! Ordered balustrade at Ideal Home Show Paid deposit Company stated not unless we make a full payment they will not manufacture. So we made a FULL PAYMENT. No news or update regarding the order despite the numerous months of chasing Eventually after months of chasing we found out the reason for the delay was the company was going under! All this talk of new management making new promises – truth be told they are even bigger cons – they ‘supposedly’ manufactured the rest of our order only to ask for 5,000 on top of the 12,000 we have already paid them. When we refused they took back the balustrade! Greedy people – if goods are ready, then deliver but not with these guys – why deliver if you can make more and more for the same thing! They refused to acknowledge our balcony order altogether! That’s another story……. To summarise unless you want stress and deception, DON’T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! Or you will be left dealing with administrators as we are! Google needs to have an option to post ZERO star because that's what this company is!! Useless!

Goods Delivered Placed an order back in August for Balustrades and glass with stair rail. Paid first deposit in September after quote and drawing detailing had been completed. Paid second payment in December when it was explained to me that that was company policy. Things were a bit slow after that and then in January no delivery was made.Various excuses were offered ..parts missing or on order etc. Later in January a phone call came through from Joanne Seabrook to explain what had been going on with the company. Joanne outlined a plan to complete my order and sent a letter which confirmed what had been explained,,the new company were undertaking the supply of systems on the books..naturally one is concerned at this point and after what had gone before it was not an easy decision to trust and hope. I have received a delivery as promised by Joanne and her team it was packed well and delivered in good condition and early on Friday, The product is as described, a very good quality product with quality parts and glass. I will place further orders with this company based on the product and the recent contact with the company. I could not give five stars for the overall experience but I would for the service of recent contact.

This is the fourth time we had products from shs. A smooth process from start to finish. Regular updates from Daniel were made to us and materials were delivered on time and very well packaged.
