Had a great time doing the Peter Rabbit trail. Very well thought out. The kids (3 and 6) loved it. Cafe open for take away. Staff all very polite.

Beautiful place. Lovely walks in grounds. Very interesting to look round house when open again. Beautiful Xmas tree in barn when in normal times. Graitvtrails for kids

Very enjoyable visit to this NT site. Interesting history at Francis Drake's home. Gardens are very well kept. Cafe serving tasty food. The Buckland Apple Cake was particularly good. Yum! It was a bit cold and drizzly to explore the grounds but the paths looked good and we will definitely be back the next time we are in the area when it's warm & sunny.

The tranquil setting is what makes this place, plus sensitive garden treatment. The great barn is stunning. The house is interesting due to it being clear how it was built into the old abbey church. Great estate walks and views of the estuary.
